According to Monitoring the Future data, approximately one in six (15 percent) teens reported driving under the influence of marijuana.

Parents can reverse this alarming trend by talking about the dangers of using marijuana and the need to be responsible behind the wheel with their newly licensed teen drivers.

Employers and unions can also support these efforts by providing helpful resources to parents in the workplace to better prepare them for a discussion with their teen(s).
