National Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign

Ways To Get Involved

Get involved – it’s easy.  By participating in the National Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign’s Partner Program, you can help your customers, your employees, your constituents, your communities and your business or organization.  According to experts, parents are the single most important factor in keeping their kids away from drugs.  The Campaign’s corporate and organization team can show you ways to support the efforts of parents and adult influencers to keep kids away from drugs by sharing information about youth drug prevention through your existing communication channels or by developing a custom program.  Activities, aligned with your strategic business priorities or communication plans, could include the following:

  • Advertising  Thank you for visiting theantidrug.com. You are now leaving the site. The Office of National Drug Control Policy is not responsible for the content or information gathering practices of other websites you are linking to.The Media Campaign is continually developing new print and broadcast public service announcements (PSAs). You can donate existing advertising space for the Media Campaign’s PSAs and include your company’s logo and message.  Or, if you have ads that you are planning to run, you can tag them with a Media Campaign message and URL.  We also have art available as “freeze frames” for TV, cash register or ATM display screens.
  • Information and Resource PromotionThe Media Campaign offers concise information for parents and adult influencers that can be easily integrated into direct mail pieces, in-store displays and corporate Web sites as well as company intranets and newsletters. You can link directly to www.TheAntiDrug.com or incorporate Campaign parenting information directly into your Web site. Any channel that you have to reach your customers and employees is a vehicle that can help the Media Campaign communicate about the dangers of youth drug use.
  • Encourage subscription to TheAntiDrug.com Parenting NewsletterThrough your various internal and external communication channels, you can promote The Parenting Tips Newsletter which features a recently updated “Advice” section dedicated to Communicating and Monitoring Techniques. The newsletter features a new Partner each week who has recently assisted the Campaign.
  • Co-Branding and Marketing Programs – The Media Campaign promotes a powerful, positive and widely recognized brand for parents: “PARENTS. THE ANTI-DRUG.”  Your company can easily associate with the Media Campaign’s brand by developing and placing co-branded posters and displays in retail space, including Campaign logos on product packaging or custom inserts, or sponsoring an anti-drug event in your own community.
  • Become a Corporate, Organizational, or Parents@Work partner —Get started today by contacting Sonia Osinloye at 202-828-8813.

Lead by Example.  The Media Campaign offers a free, turnkey Parents@Work Program that enables your company or organization to distribute anti-drug information internally, similar to human resource and employee assistance programs.  Providing this information lets employees and constituents know that you care about the well being of their families and also helps to decrease absenteeism related to domestic problems with youth substance abuse.  Materials can be downloaded at: www.TheAntiDrug.com/atwork in the top right-hand corner of the page.

Contact Us.  The Campaign has assembled a staff of communication and social marketing specialists to facilitate collaboration with interested corporations. For more information, visit www.TheAntiDrug.com/atwork, or call Sonia Osinloye at 202-828-8813 to get involved today.
