The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid invited the Parents@Work program to participate in their 11th Annual Quality of Work/Life Holistic Health Fair and distributed brochures to attendees/employees. |

The City of Charlotte is distributing 4,300 brochures to city employees. They recently hosted an open meeting for employees where additional materials were disseminated and Campaign poster boards were displayed as signage. The City will also link its intranet to TheAntiDrug.com and include newsletter articles in their bi-weekly newsletter. As city-sponsored health fairs are scheduled, they will also contact us to provide additional materials. |

The City of Orlando has ordered Campaign resources that will be incorporated into their city-wide employee training sessions. Materials will also be displayed on-site at their wellness center, HR offices and at a wellness fair scheduled for January 2007. |

The Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) participated in the Parents@Work program by distributing the Media Campaign's parent brochures - Keeping Your Kids Drug-Free: A How-To Guide for Parents and Caregivers and Wake Up to the Risks of Marijuana - to employees, linking to TheAntiDrug.com from its Web site, and displaying Campaign posters in its offices. DCMA has 11,000 employees and serves as the Department of Defense's contract manager, which is responsible for ensuring that federal acquisition programs, supplies and services are delivered on time, within cost and meet performance requirements. |

The Department of Labor has included many of the Media Campaign's resources on its Working Partners Web site. In particular, Campaign articles on drugged driving were incorporated into the Working Partners' "Impaired Driving" special section. The Working Partners site has also integrated many of the Campaign's "parenting tips" articles, as well as information about and links to Campaign parent brochures - Keeping Your Kids Drug-Free: A How-To Guide for Parents and Caregivers and Wake Up to the Risks of Marijuana. The Department of Labor's Working Partners program provides employers with resources and tools to address substance abuse in the workplace. |

Leading the efforts in educating parents and teens about the dangers of drug abuse, the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) is supporting the Parents@Work program by providing a link to TheAntiDrug.com on its human resources Web site. |

The Office of Personnel Management's Office of Work Life Programs (OPM OWLP) works with employee assistance and human resource professionals throughout the federal government to coordinate services that help employees balance work and life. OWLP has made it possible for the Media Campaign to promote the Parents@Work program to federal EAP and HR personnel by facilitating meetings and linking to the Parents@Work Web site. In addition, OPM has made youth drug prevention materials available to its own workforce by distributing the Campaign parent brochure, Keeping Your Kids Drug-Free: A How-To Guide for Parents and Caregivers. |

The Small Business Administration (SBA) has promoted the Parents@Work program to 50 of its small business development centers across the country and made it possible for the Media Campaign to present the Parents@Work program to 40 SBA grantees. Other SBA grantees received a mailing with information about the Parents@Work program. The SBA provides financial, technical and management assistance to help Americans run their businesses. America's 25 million small businesses employ more than 50 percent of the private work force. |

Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma - which has a base population of 14,000 civilian and military personnel - has displayed Media Campaign posters on all official bulletin boards. Tinker has also distributed the Campaign parent brochure - Keeping Your Kids Drug-Free: A How-To Guide for Parents and Caregivers - to base employees. |

The United States Department of Defense (DoD), home of all branches of the armed services, joined the Media Campaign in educating working parents on how to keep America’s youth drug-free. DoD invited the Parents@Work program to participate in its annual Red Ribbon Week event at the Pentagon in Washington, DC. Media Campaign resources were distributed to more than 600 employees. |

The United States Department of Interior (DOI), charged with protecting our nation’s land, water, and parks, has extensively promoted the Media Campaign’s resources to its 70,000 employees. DOI invited the Parents@Work program to participate in its annual Health and Wellness Fair and also provided a series of youth drug prevention experts to speak to high school interns and working parents about the dangers of drug use and how to making safe and healthy choices. DOI promoted the Parents@Work program to its 12 bureaus to help further educate DOI employees about the importance of youth drug prevention. DOI also published an article about the Campaign and its resources in its monthly internal magazine, “People, Land, and Water.” |

The U.S. Navy in San Diego hosted a session for parents with the Media Campaign and other experts in April and also distributed 714 brochures to parents on base. |

The United States Social Security Administration (SSA), the nation’s government agency charged with providing economic protection to Americans, has joined the Media Campaign to help educate its employees about preventing America’s youth from using illicit drugs. SSA invited the Parents@Work program to participate in its annual Circle of Wellness Health Fair where Campaign resources were distributed to employees. |
